Abstract

The Middle Ages are one of the brightest pages of Eastern civilization - the period when the city of Samarkand became a center of science and culture. This period, especially under the rule of the Timurids, reached a high stage of development, and Samarkand became one of the central points of the Eastern Renaissance. This article discusses the role of Samarkand in the fields of science, culture, architecture and education in the Middle Ages based on scientific sources
