As a result of scientific research, the T-1980 line was created with a early maturity - 110-112 days, a yield of 32-33 c/ha, a weight of one boll of 3.8 g, a fiber yield of 37-38%, a weight of 1000 seeds of 90-95 g, a micronaire of 4.9, a specific breaking load of 33-34 g.s./tex, a fiber length of 34-35 mm, high resistance to wilt and fiber hygroscopicity. The variety is suitable for cultivation on saline soils and under water deficit conditions, in terms of indicators it is close to medium-fiber varieties.
