This thesis provides information about the widely studied Bifidobacterium longum species among probiotic microorganisms. The relevance of the topic is associated with the role of the human intestinal microflora in health, strengthening the immune system and preventing diseases. The goals of the research are discussed. This thesis serves as a theoretical basis for future practical research.
