Abstract

This article analyzes the bioecological properties, growth conditions, morphological characters and medicinal aspects of the lemon balm (Melissa officinalis L.) plant. The results of the study show that the Melissa officinalis plant is moderately demanding on environmental factors and is widely used in folk medicine and the pharmaceutical industry due to the abundance of essential oils and biochemical components beneficial to human health.
