Abstract

This article examines the musical environment of that period through Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur's interest in music and his descriptions of musical life in his work "Boburnoma". Babur's personal attitude to music, his respect for musicians and musicians, as well as the musical genres, instruments, and musical traditions of that period are analyzed.
