"BABURNAMA" IS A HISTORICAL-GEOGRAPHICAL SOURCE

Abstract

This article analyzes the work of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur "Boburnoma" as a historical and geographical source. It highlights the detailed information it provides about the natural and geographical conditions, relief, climate, water resources, flora and fauna, and agriculture of the regions of Central Asia and South Asia. The comparative geographical research methods used by Babur, the mention of more than a thousand geographical names, and the detailed description of the geography of Fergana, Samarkand, Kabul, and India further increase the scientific significance of the work.
