THE PLACE OF "BABURNAMA" IN THE STUDY OF UZBEKISTAN HISTORY

Abstract

This article analyzes the role of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur's famous work - "Boburnoma" in the study of the history of Uzbekistan, its scientific significance and role as a historical source. The Boburnoma is not only a historical document describing personal memories and events, but also an important source on the history of medieval Central Asia and India, Afghanistan. The article examines the role of the work in illuminating historical truths, its uniqueness in historical methodology, as well as Babur's approach to history and the literary and aesthetic aspects of the work. At the same time, the significance of the Boburnoma in the science of history for today and its place in the framework of modern research are also highlighted.
