THE RECENT HISTORY OF UZBEKISTAN: MODERN METHODOLOGY AND NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS

Abstract

The article analyzes the methodological and scientific-theoretical foundations, methods and principles of the newest historical science of Uzbekistan. It emphasizes the importance of historical science for the development of society and national interests, its role in revealing historical truth. As a methodology of historical science, such principles as scientific objectivity, historical-analytical, logical-organic, chronological consistency are considered, and their practical significance is considered. It also covers the issues of scientific and objective study of the history of Uzbekistan during the period of independence, research based on archival documents and sources. The article discusses the development of historical science based on modern approaches and its role in the formation of spiritual and moral qualities in young people.
