Abstract

This article analyzes the participation of representatives of the Russian nationality in the socio-cultural life of Uzbekistan during the years of its independence, based on the legislative framework and the measures taken. The article discusses the rights of citizens of Russian nationality, their cultural heritage, the role of the Russian language and culture in education, the media and cultural institutions, and the integration of the Russian diaspora into Uzbek society.
