Abstract

This article is dedicated to studying the musical characteristics of Saraxbor, Talqin, and Nasr — essential components of Uzbek folk music. The article analyzes the rhythmic structure, melodic features, tempo, and dynamics of these sections, as well as their performance styles and roles within the maqom tradition. The majestic and stable structure of Saraxbor, the free and improvisational nature of Talqin, and the lyrical and measured character of Nasr are highlighted in detail. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of Uzbekistan’s musical heritage and serves as a valuable resource for musicologists, performers, and lovers of folk music.
