Abstract

The article presents the results of a study on the structural and physical properties of knitted fabrics made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) yarns. The influence of knitting parameters on surface density, thickness, and volumetric density was analyzed. It was found that loop length and loop density have a significant effect on the structure of the knitted fabric. UHMWPE knitwear combines high strength, wear resistance, and low mass, making it promising for protective and technical textile applications.
