PILOT-INDUSTRIAL TESTS OF BIOTECHNOLOGY FOR DISPOSAL OF LIQUID WASTE FROM AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION
Keywords:
quantityAbstract
Another source of liquid waste is aquaculture production, such as wastewater from tanks or ponds where shrimp are grown, as well as runoff from washing and cleaning the products of such farms. This waste contains large amounts of organic matter, as well as nitrogen, phosphorus, and various chemical compounds used in shrimp farming. Shrimp farming is a branch of aquaculture that has grown significantly in recent years, contributing significantly to global aquaculture production and, consequently, to the generation of large quantities of polluted wastewater.
