THE IMPACT OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY ON THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of the digital economy on economic growth in Uzbekistan. Digital transformation processes, in particular, e-government, digital payment systems, e-commerce and IT startups, help increase the country's economic efficiency. The article examines the main mechanisms of the digital economy, such as increasing production efficiency, creating jobs, increasing tax revenues and expanding export opportunities. At the same time, it also analyzes current problems, such as the lack of digital infrastructure, human resource skills and cybersecurity issues.
