This thesis provides a scientifically sound overview of the role of genetic engineering in biology, medicine, agriculture, and industry, as well as its modern methods. Advanced methods such as recombinant DNA technology, PCR, gene cloning, transgenesis, and CRISPR-Cas9 are analyzed. The possibilities of creating new biopreparations, high-yielding crops, genetic therapy tools, and industrial bioproducts through genetic engineering are considered.
