Abstract

This article analyzes the use of the accusative case in O‘tkir Hoshimov’s short story “The Affairs of the World” from grammatical, semantic, and stylistic perspectives. The study reveals not only the syntactic function of the accusative case (the suffix “-ni”) but also its expressive potential in the literary text. It is substantiated that direct objects marked by the accusative case in the story serve to depict reality more precisely, highlight important images, and enhance the emotional impact of the text.
