Abstract

This study examines socio-economic development trends in Andijan city during 2020–2025, focusing on employment, income dynamics, and social infrastructure. Results indicate consistent improvement in labor market conditions, with employment rising from 87.0% to 91.5% and unemployment declining from 13.0% to 8.5%. The average monthly income increased by approximately 2.36 times over the period. Notable progress was also achieved in education and healthcare infrastructure. However, issues such as job quality, income inequality, and growing demographic pressure on public services remain. The study emphasizes the need for sustainable development policies to ensure long-term socio-economic stability in the city.
