This article analyzes issues related to prosecutorial control at the stage of investigating criminal applications and reports. The issue of combining and separating criminal applications and reports and investigation materials on them is also studied. In the process of studying, proposals and recommendations for legislation are given. In addition, the opinions of national and foreign scientists are analyzed.
