Abstract

This article analyzes the role of state policy, regulatory and legal frameworks, institutional support systems, concessional loans, subsidies, vocational training, and mechanisms for involving women in entrepreneurship in expanding women’s economic opportunities in Uzbekistan. The study examines women’s participation in the labour market, their economic activity, access to financial resources, and the practical outcomes of state programmes through statistical and comparative approaches. Drawing on national legislation, official statistical data, reports of international organizations, and the scholarly views of Uzbek and foreign researchers, the article highlights existing opportunities and challenges in enhancing women’s economic activity.
