Abstract

This article describes the importance of motivation in the educational process, the formation of students' professional motivation, and gender differences in choosing a profession. Concepts of motivation, professional motivation and motive, definitions of scientists, their important aspects are studied. The results of empirical studies conducted in this area are presented.
