This scientific-practical work provides a detailed analysis of the physiological, biochemical, molecular, and genetic responses of plants to various unfavorable environmental factors. It investigates plant resistance mechanisms under abiotic stresses such as drought, salinity, extreme temperatures, heavy metals, and radiation. Additionally, it covers plant defense systems against biotic stresses, including pathogens, harmful insects, viruses, and parasitic plants. The work also examines hormonal cross-talk, signal transduction pathways, gene expression, and secondary metabolite synthesis. Research conducted by Uzbek scientists, national selection achievements, laboratory experiments, and field observations are included.
