Maqolaning maqsadi g’o’zaning mahalliy navlarini (oq tolali) tabiiy rangli tola navlari bilan chatishtirganda F1 duragaylarida tola uzunligi va tola chiqimining irsiylanishi aniqlashdan iborat. Tola uzunligining irsiylanishi oraliq irsiylanish mexanizmi orqali amalga oshishi aniqlandi. Birinchi avlod duragaylari tolasining chiqimi va uzunligi bu belgining to'liq tabiati haqida hali tasavvur bermaydi. Umuman olganda, deyarli barcha duragay kombinatsiyalar belgilar uchun o'rtacha ko'rsatkichlarga ega edi. Ammo har ikki jihatdan navlar va duragaylar o'zgaruvchanlikni namoyon qildi. Geterogenlik, ayniqsa, tola uzunligi bo'yicha sezilarli. Shuni ta'kidlash kerakki, rangli tolali navlarning tola uzunligi yuqori qiymatga ega emas. Ammo, shunga qaramay, olingan duragaylar ijobiy ko'rsatkichlarga ega bo’ldi va bu xususiyat kamdan-kam hollarda oraliq irsiylanishini ko'rsatadi, asosan birinchi avlod uchun belgi ko’rsatkichi bir xil emas.
