Ushbu tadqiqot O'zbekistonning Buxoro shahrida madaniy turizmni rivojlantirishning hozirgi holati va rivojlanayotgan dinamikasini o'rganadi, bu shahar YUNESKOning Jahon merosi ro'yxatiga kiritilgan bo'lib, moddiy va nomoddiy madaniy boyliklari bilan mashhur. Tadqiqot uchta gipotezani tahlil qilish orqali an'anaviy festivallar, zamonaviy san'at tashabbuslari va jamoatchilik ishtiroki Buxoroning turizm landshaftini qanday shakllantirishini o'rganadi. Tadqiqot natijalari shuni ko'rsatadiki, madaniy turizm ijtimoiy-iqtisodiy o'sish va merosni saqlashning asosiy omili bo'lib kelgan, bunga Ipak va ziravorlar festivali va yangi tashkil etilgan Buxoro biennalesi kabi tadbirlar misol bo'la oladi. Ushbu tashabbuslar an'anaviy hunarmandchilikni zamonaviy badiiy ifoda bilan muvaffaqiyatli birlashtirib, Buxoroning global miqyosdagi ko'rinishi va madaniy hayotiyligini oshiradi. Biroq, cheklangan infratuzilma, yetarlicha professional tayyorgarlik va tarqoq siyosatni muvofiqlashtirish kabi muammolar hali ham mavjud. Umuman olganda, Buxoro tajribasi innovatsiyalarni meros bilan integratsiyalash tarixiy Ipak yo'li shahrini barqaror madaniy turizm va madaniy barqarorlik modeliga qanday aylantirishi mumkinligini ko'rsatadi.
