Ushbu maqolada Plantago ovata Forssk.ning genetik xususiyatlari, kariotipi, xromosoma tuzilishi, genom hajmi hamda foydali belgilarni belgilovchi genlar haqida ma’lumotlar keltirilgan. O‘simlik genetikasini chuqur o‘rganish orqali yuqori hosilli, stress omillariga, qurg‘oqchilik va sho‘rlanishga chidamli navlarni yaratish imkoniyati mavjud. Bu esa farmatsevtika va oziq-ovqat sanoatida yuqori sifatli mahsulotlar olishda muhim ahamiyatga ega.
