Mazkur maqolada antosiyaninlarning o‘simliklar hayotidagi biologik roli, kimyoviy tuzilishi, sintezi va rang hosil qilishdagi o‘ziga xos xususiyatlari yoritilgan. Antosiyaninlar o‘simliklarning turli to‘qimalarida uchrab, ularning rang-barangligini ta’minlaydi hamda ekologik stress omillariga moslashishda muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi. Ularning rangga ta’siri atrof-muhit pH darajasi, metall ionlar va boshqa fizik-kimyoviy omillarga bog‘liq. Shuningdek, maqolada antosiyaninlarning oziq-ovqat sanoati va tibbiyot sohasidagi qo‘llanilishi haqida ham ma’lumotlar keltirilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari antosiyaninlarning o‘simlik ekologiyasi va inson faoliyatidagi amaliy ahamiyatini chuqurroq anglashga xizmat qiladi.
