Abstract

This article talks about how art and culture emerged along the ancient Silk Road and their exchange between cultures. It also provides a wealth of information on the scope, complexity, and diversity of Silk Road art and culture. In particular, the trade routes known as the Silk Roads not only allowed merchants throughout Asia and Europe to exchange goods such as Chinese silk, Byzantine gold, and Indian spices, but they also introduced people to new beliefs and systems in different parts of the continent.
