Abstract

Globalization has heightened the importance of international assessment programs such as PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study), and PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study). These assessments evaluate students' knowledge and skills across various subjects while emphasizing their ability to apply this knowledge in real-world contexts. Preparing students to excel in these programs requires an adaptive methodology that integrates innovative teaching practices, active learning strategies, and alignment with international standards. This article explores effective methods for preparing students for international assessments, emphasizing curriculum alignment, teacher training, and student engagement, supported by references to relevant literature.
