Abstract

Lentils (lens culinaris M) belong to the legume family and are considered a valuable food product. Lentils are considered a nitrogen-fixing plant that increases soil fertility, and the protein content of the grain is 24-35%. It is important to obtain valuable breeding resources based on the cultivation of lentils in our republic and the study of its biological properties, thereby ensuring the food security of the population.
