Abstract

This article examines the issue of the methodology for developing pedagogical image competence in students in higher pedagogical education. It also analyzes the main components of pedagogical image, its significance in the pedagogical impact on students in higher educational institutions and the methodological foundations of its development. The methodological approaches that are important in the development of pedagogical image competence, interactive relationships between teachers and students, empathy and communicative skills, as well as the methods necessary for establishing successful communication with students in the educational process are considered separately.
