Genetically modified or transgenic organisms are
products of modern biotechnology that have become improved types of food products. Genetic engineering, with the help of which GMO products are produced,
is carried out using modern genetic engineering technologies.
The properties acquired as a result of genetic modification are accelerated growth,
improved nutritional and technological properties of products, resistance to unfavorable conditions and pathogens.
