Plant-parasitic nematodes are pathogens that cause serious damage to agriculture on a global scale. Their control depends on ecological balance and agricultural sustainability. Nematophagous fungi are natural biocontrol agents that affect nematodes through various mechanisms. This thesis presents an analysis of the scientific literature on the biological control mechanisms, ecological significance, and agricultural applications of nematophagous fungi against plant-parasitic nematodes.
