THE INFLUENCE OF LIVER DETOXIFICATION ACTIVITY ON METABOLIC PRODUCTS IN THE PROGRESS OF DIABETES.

In this study, a diabetes model was created using alloxan and the effect of the liver microsomal monooxygenase system phenotype on nitrogen metabolism was analyzed in depth. The differences between the rapid, intermediate, and slow metabolizer groups of rats were studied through creatinine and urea levels, as well as diuresis indicators. The results of the study showed that a sharp increase in nitrogenous metabolites in rapid metabolizers indicates an increased detoxification load on the liver and kidneys. In slow metabolizers, these changes were relatively stable, indicating a better maintenance of the metabolic state.
These findings confirm that phenotypic differences in the liver microsomal system play an important role in the metabolism of nitrogenous waste and overall homeostasis.
