is a semi-shrub plant belonging to the Lamiaceae (mint) family. Due to its early flowering, strong essential oil secretion and environmental resistance, it is widely used in pharmacology, cosmetology, perfumery and folk medicine. The thesis provides an in-depth analysis of the morphological and structural characteristics, botanical classification, environmental requirements and cultivation technologies of lavender. In particular, the physiological effects of its main bioactive components - linalool, linalyl acetate and camphor, as well as its anti-inflammatory, anti-infective and anti-stress properties are highlighted based on scientific sources. Lavender is effectively used in folk medicine for cardiovascular diseases, insomnia, neuroses and skin diseases. The study opens up the possibilities of correctly assessing the medicinal properties of lavender and cultivating it in local conditions.
