Abstract

In this study, physiological (chlorophyll “a” and “b”) and biochemical (peroxidase, phenylalanine ammonia-lyase, abscisic and salicylic acid) changes in various local varieties of soybean (Glycine max L.) under the influence of phytopathogenic fungi Fusarium solani and Alternaria alternata were studied. According to the results, the varieties Tomaris and Nafis were distinguished by the highest activity of protective enzymes and low pigment loss. They were recommended as varieties resistant to Fusarium solani.
