Abstract

This work examines nuclear chain reactions, their essence, areas of application, and research aspects. Nuclear chain reactions occur as a result of the fission or fusion of atomic nuclei, releasing energy. The study discusses the physical foundations, theoretical models, and experimental confirmation of these reactions.
