TECHNOLOGY FOR FORMING ENGLISH LISTENING SKILLS OF PRIMARY STUDENTS THROUGH AUDIO STORY MATERIALS.

This thesis discusses the technology of developing listening comprehension skills in English for primary school students through audio fairy tales. The study analyzes the didactic value of audio fairy tales, their suitability for the age and psychological characteristics of students, as well as their effectiveness in developing listening comprehension skills. The methodological aspects of the pre-listening, while-listening and post-listening stages of the lesson are considered, and ways to develop students' listening, pronunciation and oral speech skills through the use of multimedia approaches, visual materials and dramatization tools are shown. The possibilities of using audio fairy tales to form a positive attitude towards the language and increase motivation of students are also discussed.
