THE ROLE OF LITERATURE IN PERSONAL EDUCATION AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT (On the example of the educational value of literature and works of art)

Abstract

This article discusses the role of literature in the education of adolescents, which is a pressing issue of today, and the reforms being implemented to strengthen the place of literature in our society, increase its effectiveness in the process of educating young people, and develop this area, as well as their results. Attention to literature and language once again makes a successful contribution to the period of socialization of society. The world of literature is a great power that knows no boundaries, embodies uniqueness and versatility. Its weapon is the word, and the source of this power is the word. Influencing young people through art creates the basis for their future development as mature and perfect people. After all, “Artistic skill is the measure of the writer’s artistic talent” (Ch. Aitmatov) [2.39]. With this ability, the writer means life to the reader. Literature educates a person. Thus, a number of state programs have been developed and supported by the state to further develop and popularize these areas and to raise the next generation in a spirit of patriotism.
