Abstract

Modern higher education institutions are characterized by an active transition to the use of new information technologies. Modern technologies are being actively introduced into the education system, including the development of electronic manuals and educational materials, online teaching methods are being improved, and digital resource collections for education are being formed. This article discusses the role and importance of information systems in the development of geography education.
