MODEL OF PREPARING FUTURE TEACHERS FOR EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES BASED ON A COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH

Abstract

Large-scale work is being carried out in the world to create a higher education system that meets the requirements of international standards. Special attention is also paid to the spiritual and moral competencies (virtues) that should be formed in future specialists during the educational process. For example, in the "Fundamental Law on Education" of Japan, educational institutions are entrusted with the mission of forming a nation that adheres to the ideals of peace and humanity. Namely: the full development of personal qualities; the upbringing of builders of a peaceful state and society, truthfulness and justice; personal freedom; hard work; responsibility; independent thinking; cooperation with others, the possession of independent thought; understanding of tradition and modernity; readiness for international cooperation; possession of everyday life skills; spiritual and physical strength; the qualities of being happy and able to harmonize oneself with others are being formed.
