ENHANCING STUDENTS’ PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THROUGH WORKOUT EXERCISES: FACTORS OF MOTIVATION, TECHNIQUE, AND EFFECTIVENESS
Keywords:
workout exercises, physical activity levels, students’ healthAbstract
This study examines the issues related to the decline of physical activity levels among students and develops scientific-methodological foundations for overcoming them through workout exercises. The main objective of the research is to determine effective methods for enhancing students’ physical activity through workout exercises and to analyze their impact on academic performance.During the research, students were divided into groups based on their physical activity levels, and specific workout programs were developed for each group. Observations conducted in the experimental and control groups demonstrated that regular workout exercises positively influence students’ attention, motivation, and overall psychophysiological condition.Furthermore, initial diagnostics were carried out using the international IPAQ (International Physical Activity Questionnaire) criteria, and step-by-step approaches based on workout exercises were developed. These approaches proved to not only improve physical activity but also reduce stress, develop self-regulation skills, and enhance academic efficiency. The findings confirm that improving students’ physical activity through workout exercises directly influences not only their health but also the quality of their learning outcomes. This research highlights the importance of integrating workout exercises into the educational process as an effective way to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent passivity among students.
