Abstract

The successful experience of operating the combined copper-molybdenum deposits, in particular the Kalmyk site, has shown that for the specific mining and geological conditions of the “Yoshlik” combined mine, it is necessary to use a transport development system with the removal of waste rocks to external dumps. A single decision is made: “Yoshlik 1 and Kalmyk”. Open-pit mining of the Yoshlik I and Kalmyk deposits is envisaged. The operating system is the transportation of the deposit to external dumps by a dredger (prof. V.V. Rzhevsky) with a variable position of the working site and combined transport in accordance with the mining and technical conditions of the deposit. The ore is transported in two directions: – from the Kalmyk site – by railway in option 1, and by conveyor transport in option 2 to the enrichment plant located northwest of the combined mine (MOF-1); – From the “Yoshlik I” section – from the DPU Central Processing Plant ore via the western conveyor to MOF-3, located southwest of the plant’s deposit.
