Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify the main factors of psychological fatigue (burnout) among young people and analyze its impact on personal development on a scientific basis. The research used methods of theoretical analysis, comparative approach, and systematic study of psychological literature. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that academic workload, chronic stress, decreased motivation, and socio-psychological pressure are the leading factors shaping burnout. It was also found that psychological fatigue negatively affects a person's motivation and self-esteem. Its negative impact on social adaptation was substantiated by scientific evidence. In conclusion, the prevention of burnout requires strengthening psychological preventive measures at the individual and institutional levels.
