SCIENTIFIC BASES OF FORMING THE IMAGE OF A MODERN TEACHER

This article analyzes the scientific and pedagogical foundations of forming a teacher’s image in the context of the modern education system. The theoretical bases of the main structural components of a teacher’s image—professional competence, personal and moral qualities, communicative culture, and innovative activity—are examined. In addition, based on the views of leading pedagogical scholars, the influence of a modern teacher’s image on the quality of education and the effectiveness of the educational process is scientifically substantiated.
