POSSIBILITIES OF ADAPTATION OF FOREIGN RESOCIALIZATION CONCEPTS TO THE CONDITIONS OF UZBEKISTAN

The article provides a comparative analysis of three main concepts of resocialization of difficult-to-educate young people in foreign pedagogy: J. Braithwaite's “reintegrative shame”, D. Garland's “community-based control”, and F. Cullen's “rehabilitation-based model”. The main ideas, advantages, and limitations of these concepts are revealed. The possibilities of their harmonization with Uzbekistan's national social institutions (mahalla, “Youth Register”, “Youth Balance” electronic platform) are substantiated. The validity of the proposed adaptation directions was assessed with the participation of 15 experts (educational psychologists, mahalla representatives, juvenile inspectors). Expert consensus was confirmed by Kendall's coefficient of concordance (W=0.78; p<0.01). The necessity of not directly copying, but adapting foreign experience taking into account local socio-cultural, legal, and pedagogical features is substantiated.
