Abstract

On the basis of the obtained experimental results, it can be assumed that the
relaxant effect of the extract of fennel is due to the blocking of the potential-dependent Ca2+
channels located in the sarcolemma of smooth muscle cells and the reduction of the entry of
Ca2+ ions into their cytoplasm.
