Abstract

Cybersecurity has become an important issue in today's digital age, especially for adolescent students who increasingly rely on technology for communication, learning, and social interaction. Understanding the mechanisms that shape adolescents' perceptions of cyber safety is essential to promoting responsible online behavior, protecting privacy, and mitigating cyber risks. This essay explores the mechanisms by which adolescent students' perceptions of cybersecurity develop through a cultural studies approach, considering how cultural norms, values, and practices influence their attitudes and behaviors in the digital realm.
