O'quvchilarni o'qish savodxonligini rivojlantirishda turli pedagogik yondoshuvlar mavjud. CALP (Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency) yondoshuvi esa o'qish va yozish kabi akademik til ko'nikmalarini rivojlantirishga qaratilgan metodik uslub bo'lib, asosan o'qitish jarayonida o'quvchilarning mantiqiy fikrlash va tilni akademik darajada to'g'ri ishlatish qobiliyatlarini shakllantiradi. Ushbu maqolada, CALP yondoshuvi asosida boshlang’ich sinf o’quvchilarining o’qish savodxonligini rivojlantirishning metodik bosqichlari ko’rib chiqiladi.
