Children with alalia, that is, children who do not fully understand spatial relationships, mainly face limitations in their physical or mental development. Their difficulties in reflecting and understanding spatial relationships require different methods and techniques. In the field of special pedagogy, special approaches and techniques have been developed to teach spatial concepts to these children. Among these methods, visual aids (pictures, diagrams, models), physical exercises (horizontal or vertical movements) and sensory approaches (touch, sensory experiences) are of particular importance. When introducing children to spatial concepts, it is necessary to pay attention to their emotional development, and to provide specific visual and motor aids in the learning process.
