Abstract

This article considers the issues of improving the methodology for developing didactic competencies in working with scientific information texts for students studying in primary education. Scientific information texts are important in developing students' analytical thinking, information processing, and adaptation skills. The article analyzes existing problems in working with scientific texts, including the inability to deeply analyze the content of the text and the difficulties in presenting information in a form suitable for children. In order to solve these problems, methodological approaches are proposed, including interactive methods, visual materials, and practical exercises. The results of the experiment showed a significant increase in students' skills in working with scientific information. The recommendations presented in the article serve to train highly qualified teachers in primary education.
