Abstract

In this article, the content of phenolic compounds in the extract of the Oriental biota (Biota orientalis) plant was determined using the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. The study covered the processes of obtaining extracts from plant samples, their preliminary processing, and the isolation of phenolic compounds. According to the results of the analysis, the extract contained a significant amount of biologically active phenolic compounds. This information is of great importance in assessing the quality of biologically active additives based on Oriental biota and in the production of pharmaceutical products.
