This article provides an in-depth analysis of the distribution geography, morphological and physiological characteristics, adaptation to environmental conditions, and pharmaceutical and medical importance of the olive plant (Olea europaea). The olive has been used since ancient times as a food, medicine, cosmetic, and cultural symbol. Recent scientific studies have revealed the cardiovascular, immune, and anti-aging effects of its bioactive compounds.
